Well, it has been a long time since I have done this, and a lot has changed in my life since my last post on You're Gonna Eat That!?! I have even sort of forgotten how to blog and what to write about. Hopefully, it will turn out like riding a bike.
Long, long, long story short...I am no longer living in East Asia, I have gotten married, and am trying to figure out what in the world I'm doing with my life, where in the world I am, and sometimes what language I'm speaking.
Boy, there is a lot to catch everyone up on, but it is getting late (for me) here, so that will have to wait for another day. Just to whet your appetite, future blog posts to come will be about the wedding, life in a Chinese village, driving in China, and life in Sri Lanka.
My purpose for writing this blog is to help us share the journey of our life together -the ups, the downs, and the often comical misunderstandings of intercultural living - and also serve as a way to keep in touch with friends and family around the globe.
